Meteors, also known as shooting stars, are objects in the sky that sometimes light up for a short period of time. Naturalis and Werkgroep Meteoren have organised an event especially for you!

Have you always been interested in space? On the 25th of September 2022, you can see real meteorites! During Meteorite Day Naturalis, you can view micro-meteorites through a microscope. But there's loads more to do! There will also be 3 lectures about several different aspects of meteorites. You can also learn how to recognize meteorites and rocks as real or fake.

There will also be a planetarium-tent by the NOVA along with several interactive performances.

This event is completely free!
Everything will be in dutch, but 1-on-1 activities are also available in English.
Everyone is welcome, and the activities are suited to all ages.
The plantarium-tent fits about 30 visitors. The show will be repeated every 45 minutes.

You can find more information about this event on the Naturalis website.
