Girl power! On the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, the Faculty of Science at Leiden University will prove just how important women are in this field.

Researchers come in all shapes, forms, and sizes. Yet we often describe a scientist as a grey-haired man in a lab coat. That's strange when you consider that women have made significant contributions to science from the very dawn of scientific thinking. On the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, the Faculty of Science is proving that this image of scientists as grey-haired men has long since changed! This activity is in Dutch.
