Come and see! Come and see! The coldest tricks and the strangest phenomena! Superconductivity is a strange phenomenon that only occurs when temperatures are super low. That is why Leiden University will be taking a large vat of liquid nitrogen to the weekly market in the Merenwijk neighbourhood. So you can experience what superconductivity is like in person.

Still haven’t satisfied your curiosity for the extreme cold? In the evening, a show with liquid nitrogen will take place in the old HEMA store in the Kopermolen shopping centre. Free admission for young and old. See you there at 19:30!
