During the The Space Week edition of Network&Drinks XL, you can meet these young talents and your potential future employee, and learn from their experience and key takeaways from the Summer School programme.

About the LDE NL Space Campus Summer School:

During the 1-week Summer School program, all students were placed into a project team to solve a specific challenge. Each team consisted of 6 students with the different backgrounds (Science, Law, Engineering and Business) that are needed to find a solution to your challenge. Each team worked on the challenge during the entire week starting on day 1 with a team building exercise. 

For an entire week, the students learned about the various space programs, developments and research activities at the Leiden Delft and Erasmus universities and went on a tour of space agencies, institutes and industry in South-Holland, including (among others): ESA ESTEC, SRON, TNO, AirbusDS, SBIC, Galileo Reference Centre and ofcourse the three universities themselves. Starting at the NL Space Campus in Noordwijk at ESA-ESTEC, the technical heart of ESA, they toured the cities of Leiden and Delft before returning to Noordwijk. During the week, they met many experts, learned about the basics and recent developments. This way you can work on your team’s challenge fully prepared.
