For lovers of maths, there's a walk they can go on all by themselves: The Leiden Maths Walk with challenging mathematical questions.
The Leiden Maths Walk leads through the beautiful city centre of Leiden. For several locations, a challenging mathematical question has been thought up by the organisers. The walk is meant for students, but anyone who likes maths is welcome to partake in the short or the long version of the walk.
As a part of the walk, there is a small booklet that includes directions and the maths questions. The booklet can be downloaded/printed HERE. Rijksmuseum Boerhaave is the beginning and end point of the walk. The standard route takes about 2 hours to complete, the longer route takes about 3 hours.
The Leiden Maths Walk was designed by masterstudents of the Science Communication and Society specialization of Leiden University.
