What is the significance of color in the art world? And what is it like to get started with color yourself? Find out in this interactive session!

"Don't think white, don't think black, don't think black and white, but in the color of your heart!"

As Frank Boeijen sings in one of his best-known songs, black and white are not actually colors. Think of the primary colors yellow, red and blue. When you mix these to make new colors, you get orange, green and purple. And when we mix these secondary colors again, you can make all the colors of the world. But black and white? No matter how hard you mix, you won't succeed.

On November 22, Cultuurcoach Leiden is organizing an interactive meeting where you will learn all about color choices in art. Following an educational presentation, put on your creative shoes and get to work with color yourself. Will we see you at Huis van de Buurt 'Op Eigen Wieken'?

This activity is Dutch-speaking.

Location: Huis van de Buurt Op Eigen Wieken at Valkenpad 5 in Leiden.

Time: 14.00 to 16.00 hours.

Entrance: Free, walk-in
