Monarchy in Turmoil' invites researchers to present and share their knowledge and work on European monarchies between 1780 and 1830.

The aim of the 'Monarchy in Turmoil' conference is to obtain a better understanding of European monarchies between 1780 and 1830. This research can focus on the institutions, activities or political decision making in this period.

This conference will be organised by Leiden University and the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research.
The Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research is the national Dutch financier of science, with the task of promoting scientific research in the Netherlands.
