In 2022, the focus of the Night of Discoveries will be on our youth. The night is a true journey through performances, exhibitions, debates, workshops, and inspiring lectures by young creators.

On Saturday, the 17th of September 2022, you can go on a journey full of new discoveries at the festival terrain near Leiden University, the Hortus Botanicus (botanical garden), the Academy Building, and the Old Observatory. 

The festival has undergone a big change this year. There's still a focus on science and art, but young people are also taking centre stage. At many different spots in Leiden, you'll find young creators, researchers and artists.
