To infinity, and beyond! On 29 April, the Mobile Planetarium takes you on a journey through space and time. Come along to Dorpscentrum Oegstgeest between 10.00 and 17.00 and let the universe open up for you.

Did you know that when you look at the stars, you are actually looking back in time? Because the stars are so distant, it can take billions of years for their light to reach your eyes. Some of the stars that we see now are actually long gone.

Astronomers use this to their advantage. By looking far enough away, they hope to peer so far back in time that they can work out what the Big Bang was all about. Where did everything come from? And what traces did the Big Bang leave in our universe?

On 29 April the NOVA Mobile Planetarium in Dorpscentrum Oegstgeest will be set up. In this dome we will show you exactly what the universe looks like and we will travel to the past to get as close as possible to the Big Bang. All performances are live and interactive, so where do you want to go?

Between 10.00 and 17.00 uur, a show of 45-50 minutes starts every hour. There is room for 30 people each show. Just walking in is possible, but reserving a place via the reservation form assures you of a place. Come along for the trip of a lifetime!
