Festive celebration of the Zuidwest Symphonies website! With live music from the composers of the streets of Leiden Zuidwest.

On Wednesday 11 May Zuidwest Symphonies organises a festive neighbourhoodconcert in Leiden Zuidwest to celebrate the launch of www.zuidwestsymphonies.nl. This website (in Dutch) provides a musical tour around this little known Leiden neighbourhood in which all streets were named after composers. 

Between 16.30 and 2.:30 you are welcome at the Parelvissers (Bizetpad 8) for live performances of both amateur and professional musicians. They will play music of the composers the streets were named after.

17.15 – 17.35 Duo flute/cello (BplusC students Merel & Maaike) play Beethoven and Handel

17.45 - 18.20 Duo cello/guitar. Tamara Krzelj and Yiannis Giagourtas

18.30 uur - 19.10 u optreden string trio playing i.e. Joseph Haydn

19.30- 20.00 – Big Band (BlusC.)
20.30- 21.15- Jazzperados (BplusC) with Nicole Kik (vocals)

Location: De Parelvissers, Bizetpad 8, Leiden Zuidwest. This location is wheelchair accessible. 

Time: 16.30 - 21.30 hrs.

Entrance: Entrance is free and registration is not necessary.
