A wonderful programme with top speakers in chemistry, entertainment and exciting prizes that put young talents in the spotlight.
In 2022, another Avond van de Chemie (Evening of Chemistry) will take place. This year, Leiden will be host to this wonderful event. For the upcoming edition, Jong KNCV will organize the Spotlight prize once again, an award for the best pitch presented by a PhD student about his or her research.
It will be a wonderful night with a programme combining top speakers from the world of chemistry with entertainment and an exciting awards gala that will put talented student in the spotlight. Prepare for a wonderful evening
This year's edition will be another remarkable event. The Royal Dutch Chemical Society is more than proud to announce the first speakers of the evening: Marthe Walvoort (University of Groningen) en Marc Koper (Leiden University).
Besides these remarkable speakers, there is an entertainment programme and an awards ceremony, in which young talents will be in the spotlights. During the awards ceremony, a total of five prizes will be awarded: Gouden Vlam (mbo), Gouden Spatel (hbo), Golden Master Award (wo), Spotlight Prize (PhD) and the Van Marumpenning.
