Making "Kintsugi" Chocolate
- Japanmuseum Sieboldhuis
Broken chocolate can be beautiful too! Learn about kintsugi in a very special way and enjoy this delicious workshop!
This workshop is inspired by traditional Japanese kintsugi: this is the Japanese art of reparing broken ceramics with gold or silver coloured lacquer. Accept the natural cracks that form during the kintsugi process and create a beautiful kintsugi chocolate bar with edible gold coloured glue. You can give the chocolate bar to anyone, and that includes yourself!
The spots for this workshop are limited.
Reminder: After the workshop, the chocolate has to stay in the fridge for 10-20 minutes. During this time, you can enjoy the museum collection on the ground floor of the Japanmuseum Sieboldhuis.
The workshop takes place on the 17th of September 2022 at 2 different times
