ENVIRONMENTAL ACT
In 2016, the Dutch Senate passed the Environment and Planning Act. The purpose of the law is to create better rules for protecting environments and how we take resources from them. For a while, it was thought that the act would come into effect this month — but the start date is now planned for 2023. What even is the Environment Act? And what will we see when it's in action?
