pijn
PAIN
“No pain, no gain.”, is not a phrase everyone will agree with. In our society we tend to fight against complicated feelings, we flee from them or we avoid them entirely. Every human has developed their own survival tactics, which surely helped out in the past. However, pain can be hard to get rid off once it’s there. Some people keep going around in circles with their old pain trying to avoid it. The pain it causes to confront this old pain, might actually make you gain something. So maybe there’s no gain without pain after all?
