NORMALISATION
“Doe normaal” is something the Dutch love to say. It means “act normal.” The Dutch and other countries all praise celebrities who have remained "normal" despite their fame. But what exactly is normal? When is something not normal? Looking back 104 years ago, it wasn’t normal for women to vote. And gay marriage? That wasn’t considered normal until 2001. Normalisation is often slow, but it is constantly happening. What are considered normal shifts in the status quo? Are you moving along with these changes?
