ORGANIC
Flowing and natural: in the art world that’s organic. Fresh and without chemicals: in the supermarket that’s organic. Your kidney, your liver or your stomach: for a surgeon that’s organic. At least 1 carbon atom in a compound: in chemistry that’s organic. ‘Organic’ means a lot of different things in a lot of different fields. The only thing all the meanings have in common is that they all have to do with organisms. It doesn’t matter whether we’re talking about carbon compounds, organ tissue, natural shapes or organic bell peppers.
