DUDOK
When Dutch people hear this word, they think about apple pie. Dudok is a famous pastry chain in the Netherlands after all. However, Dudok is also an architect. Willem Dudok designed many different buildings that can be found all throughout the Netherlands. After WW2, Dudok was in charge of rebuilding The Hague (which was bombed during the war), but he also designed buildings in Leiden and Hilversum. In the 50s, Dudok even got admirers from the US. That’s worth a slice of pie, isn’t it?
